A collaborative writing project
We are on the prowl for unpublished horror writers who want to participate in a collaborative horror writing project.
What the project is in a nutshell: A horror novel written by many writers.
How it works:
- Each writer will write a chapter
- This is serialised and posted online – a living novel, so to speak
- They then pass the baton on to the next writer who writes the next chapter, and this continues until the novel is complete
- Readers have the opportunity to get involved with their comments and suggestions
- We will publish the novel in print once the process has come to its demise
We’ve drawn inspiration from how many classic novels we know today as full books were actually serialised in magazines.
The difference here is that we are not asking for a single writer to commit to creating a full-length work. We are asking for many writers to join forces to write a novel, whilst only having to write a single chapter.

A writing event like no other!
This Summer, we’re hosting our first virtual summit for unpublished writers.
When: 28 & 29 August 2026.

We thought it was unfair that writing events are always about writers who have already made their dreams a reality. So we thought we would do things a bit differently—as we always do—and invite all you fabulous UK writers who haven’t yet had anything (or much) published. You are cordially invited to attend this chaotic two day virtual event.
It’s a chance for us all to get together to share what we’re working on, the trial and tribulations we’ve been facing, and celebrate the messy and unpredictable journey from first drafts to manuscript.
You may be nearing the completion of your manuscript or you may only have a hazy concept floating around in your head. Even if you’ve been published 🤏 you are still welcome to come along for the fun!
This is an opportunity to highlight all the behind-the-scenes chaos that goes into getting from an idea to the bookshop shelves. And, just maybe, summon a new kind of chaos altogether.
