Full Manuscript Submissions
We only need your first chapter.
- Submit your first chapter (or first few if they are incredibly short) to give us a flavour of your writing. The writing itself is the most important part, so we judge that before anything else.
- We then want to know about your relationship to your manuscript: Why did you write it? Why will people read it? What’s different about it? That’s your “query letter” for us.
- If we feel this is a good fit for us, we will request to read more of your manuscript. If we do not, we will still offer an opportunity for feedback.
It is that simple.
All we ask is that you are a UK-based writer with a great manuscript.
